About Go2
Go2 is a roughly 15-kilogram quadruped built around 12 actuated joints and Unitree’s hemispherical 4D lidar. The lidar covers 360 by 96 degrees with a minimum stated detection distance of five centimetres, supporting local mapping, obstacle perception and autonomous route functions through the associated application.
Configurations range from consumer and educational models to the developer-oriented EDU version, with speeds reaching approximately five metres per second and battery options providing about two to four hours of use. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and optional cellular connectivity support remote viewing and control, while graphical tools, APIs and secondary-development interfaces allow research teams to build navigation and embodied-AI applications.
