About HaptX Gloves G1

HaptX Gloves G1 are wearable haptic interfaces for virtual-reality training, simulation and teleoperation development. Microfluidic actuators press against the wearer’s skin to reproduce contact across the hand, while force-feedback hardware resists finger motion to convey the shape and stiffness of virtual objects. Each glove contains 135 tactile actuators and can apply up to 35.6 newtons of peak holding force per digit.

Magnetic tracking captures 36 degrees of freedom per glove at 120 hertz, with the glove itself weighing 0.57 kilograms. The system combines the gloves with an Airpack and software stack, so deployment requires the complete HaptX configuration and a compatible host application. Development support covers Unreal Engine, Unity and C++, allowing teams to connect authored virtual interactions or robotic control interfaces to the haptic hardware.
