About OS0 LiDAR Sensor

OS0 uses a digital lidar architecture to generate dense three-dimensional point clouds across a 90-degree vertical field of view, including returns close to the sensor face. Configurable scan patterns and output rates support obstacle detection, localisation, mapping and volumetric measurement around mobile robots and industrial equipment. The sensor streams range, signal and reflectivity data through Ethernet for processing by the host autonomy or perception stack.

Ouster supplies the OS0 with software-development tools, drivers and visualisation utilities for integration into ROS-based and proprietary systems. Its wide coverage is suited to machines that need visibility across floors, shelves, pallets and nearby structures from a limited number of mounting positions. The product is used in warehouse automation, robotics, industrial vehicles and infrastructure sensing.
