About E1R

E1R is a fully solid-state digital lidar using a two-dimensional VCSEL emitter array, SPAD receiver architecture and electronic scanning without a rotating mechanism. It produces 144 scan lines across a 120-by-90-degree field of view, generating approximately 260,000 points per second with maximum detection range up to 75 metres.

The 70-by-35-by-75-millimetre sensor is designed for near-field perception, including blind-zone coverage, navigation, localisation and obstacle detection. IP67 and IP6K9K protection and an operating range from −40°C to 85°C support outdoor robots and industrial equipment. RoboSense has moved E1R into mass production for AMRs, delivery robots and other autonomous platforms.
