About Mid-360L

Mid-360L is Livox’s compact 3D lidar for mobile robots, including cleaning machines, autonomous forklifts and lawn-mowing systems. A rotating-mirror hybrid-solid architecture provides 360-degree horizontal coverage and a 44-degree vertical field of view. Its non-repetitive scan produces 100,000 first-return points per second, with a typical 45 m detection distance at 10% reflectivity under the specified bright-light conditions.

The 65 × 65 × 63 mm sensor weighs 245 g and draws 4.2 W typically. It combines 100BASE-TX Ethernet, an ICM40609 IMU and PTPv2 or GPS synchronisation for integration with robot perception software. IP67 protection supports indoor and outdoor installation. Objects can return points from 0.1 m, although data within 0.1–0.2 m is reference-only; 100 m is the sensor’s cutoff range.
