About Helios 16

Helios 16 is the 16-channel member of RoboSense's Helios mechanical LiDAR family, built for robotic vehicles, autonomous navigation and V2X installations. The sensor scans a full 360 degrees horizontally and 30 degrees vertically, with sixteen evenly distributed channels. RoboSense specifies 150 m maximum range and 110 m at 10% NIST reflectivity, plus a blind zone of 0.2 m or less and typical one-centimetre range precision.

At selectable 5, 10 or 20 Hz rotation rates, Helios 16 outputs up to 288,000 points per second in single-return mode or 576,000 in dual-return mode. Its 100 mm diameter and height, 1 kg mass, 9–32 V input and IP67/IP6K9K enclosure suit integration on mobile machines exposed to vibration, dust and weather. Ethernet/UDP output supplies point-cloud data to the host autonomy stack, which performs navigation and vehicle control.
