Porter AUV

Porter is Cellula Robotics' large-displacement autonomous underwater vehicle for long-range survey, subsea inspection and payload delivery. Its 11.7-metre hull contains two modular payload bays with a combined volume of 5,000 litres, accommodating survey sensors, custom skids or deployable equipment. The vehicle can hover, station-keep or anchor on the seabed, and a retractable communications mast supports data exchange and mission updates when conditions allow.

Cellula offers rechargeable lithium-ion and hydrogen-fuel-cell configurations. The battery version is specified for 480 hours and up to 2,650 kilometres; the fuel-cell version is specified for 925 hours and up to 5,000 kilometres. Available depth ratings are 300, 1,000 or 3,000 metres, and the system is sized for transport in a 40-foot ISO container. Autonomy options include pipe and cable tracking, terrain-based navigation and performance-based mission management. Range and endurance figures remain configuration values whose achievement depends on speed, payload, route, current and mission profile.
