About O3R225 3D Camera

O3R225 is a time-of-flight camera head that connects to the separate O3R processing unit through ifm’s camera interface. This split architecture allows the compact sensor to be mounted at the required viewing position while compute and application processing remain elsewhere on the machine. Its wide field of view captures floors, obstacles and nearby structures across mobile-equipment and robotic working zones.

The O3R platform can combine several camera heads with other sensor inputs and run application software for collision avoidance, object detection and spatial monitoring. Integrators use the system on forklifts, autonomous mobile robots, construction equipment and industrial vehicles. Ifm supplies the camera head, processing unit, cables and software tools as components of a configurable machine-perception system.
