About RS010N
RS010N is a six-axis Kawasaki industrial arm for compact material-handling cells. Its 10-kilogram payload and 1,450-millimetre reach suit machine tending, part transfer, assembly and related work where the tool and workpiece remain within the robot's wrist limits. The slim upper arm and relatively small base help integrators place it beside machines or within dense production layouts.
Kawasaki specifies position repeatability of plus or minus 0.03 millimetres at the wrist flange under ISO 9283. Joint speed ranges from 215 degrees per second on the main up-down axis to 700 degrees per second at the final wrist axis. The arm is paired with Kawasaki's F60 controller and requires an engineered cell with the appropriate tool, guarding, process equipment and safety controls; it is not presented as a power-and-force-limited collaborative robot.

2021-12-23 - Research Publication - An external dynamics-identification study models the Kawasaki RS010N and compares an improved beetle-swarm optimisation method with other parameter-estimation algorithms. The numerical study focuses on the first three joints and uses designed excitation trajectories.
