Gen3 lite

Kinova Gen3 lite is a compact six-axis manipulator for professional development, academic research and robotics education. Its embedded actuator controllers support high-level Cartesian or joint commands and low-level position, velocity and motor-current control at 1 kilohertz. The Kortex API provides graphical programming as well as C++, Python and MATLAB access, with support for Ubuntu, ROS Noetic and ROS 2 Humble. Ethernet, Wi-Fi and USB connect development computers and peripherals.

The arm weighs 5.4 kilograms, reaches 760 millimetres and carries up to 500 grams. Maximum Cartesian translation speed is 25 centimetres per second, average power consumption is 20 watts and the specified operating range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. IP22 protection limits exposure to dust and liquids, reinforcing its role as a bench and laboratory manipulator. Gen3 lite is a distinct smaller member of Kinova's Gen3 line, with payload and environmental limits below industrial production arms.
