L7

About

About L7

L7 is ROBOTERA's full-size bipedal humanoid for dynamic movement and manipulation development. The 1.71-metre, 65-kilogram robot combines a modular body with high-torque joints, two seven-axis arms and independently actuated dexterous hands. Its upper body is also available as a separate configuration for work in compact spaces.

The platform has been presented performing running, spinning jumps and dance alongside sorting, barcode scanning, screw fastening and delicate object handling. A three-axis waist and wide shoulder movement expand its working envelope, with a stated combined arm handling capacity of up to 20 kilograms. ROBOTERA positions L7 for research, industrial task development and commercial performances. Specific manipulation routines and motion demonstrations remain configured behaviours rather than a general-purpose autonomous workforce.

Deployments

  • Operating Use

more than 10 logistics centers - 2026-06-11 - SF Express / China Post - logistics sorting - Caixin reported Robot Era robots deployed in more than 10 logistics centers with SF Express and China Post. Treat this as a reported site-count deployment signal, not confirmed shipped-unit volume.

Timeline

  • RobotEra showcases L7 at Humanoids Summit

2025-12-15 - Demonstration - The Computer History Museum exhibition included adult-sized L7 and Fourier GR-3 platforms alongside smaller humanoids. The summit brought together about 2,000 participants from 40 countries, with 75 speakers and 60 exhibitors.

  • RobotEra introduces L7 logistics picking solution

2025-11-21 - Product Launch - The configuration combines ERA-42 vision-language-action control with the 12-DOF XHAND1 dexterous hand and a three-axis waist. The illustrated workflow picks a target item, scans its barcode and places it into an order bin, with failed scans diverted to a recycle bin. A warehouse-management interface sends picking tasks and receives success, failure and anomaly feedback.
