About Otter X USV
Otter X is a 4.6-metre electric catamaran powered by two steerable 11-kilowatt thrusters. Two dry payload chambers and broad deck capacity support multibeam sonar, water-quality instruments, cameras, radar, acoustic equipment and customer-specific scientific payloads.
Maritime Robotics’ autonomy software follows planned survey routes and transmits sensor and vessel information through radio, Wi-Fi, LTE or optional satellite links. The wide hull and shallow draft support stable bathymetric data collection in rivers and coastal waters. Surveillance configurations add cameras and radar, while the deck can carry ROV deployment equipment.
