IH2 Azzurra

About

About IH2 Azzurra

Five tendon-driven digits let IH2 Azzurra form cylindrical, spherical, lateral and fingertip grasps while mechanically adapting to differences in object geometry. Motors and control hardware sit within the palm, giving the end effector a self-contained layout that avoids an external actuator pack. Under-actuated joints distribute motion across each finger during contact.

The controller exposes position, motor-current and tactile signals for monitoring and experimental control. Prensilia provides communication interfaces, mechanical adapters and software support for integration with suitable robot arms. These features make the unit useful in grasp-development laboratories, prosthetics research and automation projects that need configurable multi-finger hardware with accessible feedback.
