About QinetiQ RCV-L
RCV-L is QinetiQ and Pratt Miller Defense's diesel-electric tracked robotic combat vehicle for U.S. Army experimentation. It is derived from Pratt Miller's Expeditionary Modular Autonomous Vehicle and integrates QinetiQ's Modular Open System Architecture controls, government Robotic Technology Kernel autonomy software and Warfighter Machine Interface operator software.
The brochure configuration is listed at just over four tons, more than 40 mph and a maximum payload of 6,000 lb. Its modular architecture supports reconnaissance sensors and remotely operated weapon payloads for forward scouting and direct infantry support. QinetiQ and Pratt Miller delivered 12 prototype platforms to the U.S. government and continued supporting experimentation, logistics, sustainment and technology insertions.
