RG Robotix Big Buddy AMR

Big Buddy is RG Robotix’s magnetic-tape-guided load carrier with bidirectional movement and two independent drive motors. It can turn about its own centre and travel beneath a load, allowing material transport through work areas where the available turning space is limited. Its rated carrying capacity is 2,500 pounds.

Front and rear LiDAR scanners provide obstacle-detection coverage for travel in either direction. The vehicle uses a lithium-iron-phosphate battery and follows an installed magnetic guide path, combining local obstacle sensing with a defined route through the facility. This configuration supports repeated transfers between production or warehouse stations without requiring the vehicle to turn around at each end of the route.
