Seaeye Falcon

Saab’s Seaeye Falcon is a portable electric inspection ROV rated to 300 metres. The standard vehicle measures one metre long, weighs 60 kilograms in air and carries up to 14 kilograms of payload. Four horizontal thrusters and one vertical thruster provide more than three knots of speed, with automatic depth and heading functions available through its navigation system.

A high-resolution colour camera, two LED lights and configurable sensors support visual inspection, measurement and survey from a tethered surface console. Falcon DR is a separate deep-rated configuration and its 1,000-metre limit is not applied to the standard model. Saab delivered the 600th Falcon in 2025; that unit entered offshore-wind inspection work, adding field evidence across wind assets, harbours and near-shore structures to the product’s published specification.
