About

About T170A

T170A is Ti5's 1.7-metre humanoid robot, introduced through the Yaoguang and Modi versions at WAIC in July 2024. Its body uses 44 degrees of freedom and Ti5's lightweight joint modules, with a mass of approximately 48 kilograms and a single-arm handling rating of five kilograms. Lidar and binocular cameras provide perception, while an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64GB computer runs robot software.

The platform supports development across the legs, waist, arms, head and peripherals. Ti5 provides SDK and ROS2 interfaces for joint control, cameras, hands, force sensors and configurable voice interaction. Developers select the T170A model when launching control services so that joint mapping matches the hardware. Ti5 presented the robot in a joint stage performance at its 2024 launch and positions humanoid development for industrial and service applications.
