Solo AI

About

About Solo AI

Solo AI is a compact single-station robot-learning configuration built around one manipulation arm, local sensing and teleoperation hardware. It records visual observations, robot states and operator commands during repeated demonstrations, giving research teams an accessible setup for building task-specific datasets. The reduced hardware footprint suits laboratories testing grasping, placement and short-horizon manipulation policies at a desk or workbench.

Trossen Robotics supplies the platform with ROS-compatible software, example workflows and configurable hardware components. Users can adapt the cameras, end effector, workspace and collection code while retaining a common underlying robot interface. Solo AI is sold directly to education, research and physical-AI development teams as an assembled data-capture and experimentation system.
