About ProGlove

ProGlove, sold as Proception Glove 1.0, is a thin tactile-sensing glove for collecting human manipulation data and adding contact sensing to robotic hands. Its 96 sensing elements cover the palm-side fingers and palm. Electronics stream tactile signals at 500 Hz alongside a six-axis IMU, through a UART or USB interface. The textile construction is approximately 1.3 millimetres thick across most regions, with silicone pads to support grip.

Researchers can wear the glove while handling ordinary objects, pairing contact data with headset video without occupying a robot for each recording. The same sensing approach also fits around Proception's robotic hand. Proception specifies a 0.1–125 N force range and labels performance figures preliminary and internally measured. This profile covers Glove 1.0, distinct from the later Gen 2 documentation and firmware track.
