Cruzr Y1

About

About Cruzr Y1

Cruzr Y1 is UBTECH's wheeled humanoid for industrial material handling. It combines a mobile base, lifting upper body and two arms to work around production and warehouse equipment. The company's Co-Agent industrial AI system connects task commands to coordinated robot decisions and actions.

The platform is intended for palletising, sorting mixed or irregular materials, and loading or unloading CNC and moulding machines. UBTECH also develops recovery behaviour for displaced or collapsed materials, aiming to reduce operator intervention when conditions change. Its hardware includes head and wrist RGB-D sensing, base cameras, touch sensing and an operator display. Y1 is a distinct industrial platform within the Cruzr range, separate from the 1S reception robot and S2 configuration.

Timeline

  • UBTECH opens Liuzhou humanoid manufacturing facility

2026-09-12 - Production Milestone - The 14,000-square-metre facility was designed for one robot every ten minutes and planned annual capacity above 10,000 units. Cruzr Y1 and Cruzr S2 handled material-supply tasks, while reconfigurable assembly workstations supported mixed Walker and Cruzr production. The digital manufacturing system combined lifecycle management, simulation, production scheduling and quality control through cooperation with Siemens.
