PRM10 Series Linear Actuators

About

About PRM10 Series Linear Actuators

Xynova’s PRM10 micro-cylinder family integrates a hollow-cup motor with a seven-millimetre planetary roller screw. Six configurations combine 19- or 24-millimetre strokes with different no-load speeds and thrust ratings. Rated mass limits are 34 or 38 grams, depending on the model.

All six listed variants use a 12 V DC supply with a ±10 percent tolerance. Their repeatability ratings are ±0.04 or ±0.05 millimetres. A longer-stroke or faster variant does not share every rating of the highest-thrust model; the model-specific combination determines its motion and packaging envelope.

Context

Market context

Xynova Linear Actuator is a humanoid-oriented linear actuator family, including compact micro linear actuator variants with published model-level force, stroke, speed, current, weight and dimension values.

  • Target environment: Humanoid joints, dexterous hands and compact robot mechanisms that need integrated linear force delivery.
  • Workflow context: Builders select model variants based on thrust, stroke, speed and package constraints, then integrate them into joint or hand mechanisms.
  • Customer context: Humanoid builders, robot-hand developers and component buyers needing compact linear actuation.
  • Deployment model: Commercial component family with official variant table and specs.
  • Commercial maturity: Public product family with model-level technical data; deployment depends on integration into another robot platform.
  • Adoption constraints: Adoption depends on mechanical fit, controller compatibility, lifecycle, sourcing volume and whether linear actuation suits the joint architecture.
  • Market position: Positioned as a humanoid component family within Xynova’s broader electric-drive stack.
  • Adjacent products: Adjacent products include rotary actuators, tendon hand actuators, micro servo actuators and compact joint modules.
