About
About Algorized
Algorized builds edge perception software for radio-frequency sensors, converting ultra-wideband, 60-gigahertz radar and Wi-Fi signals into estimates of human presence, position, motion and intent. The approach gives machines spatial awareness in darkness, dust or visually private settings where a camera-only system may be unsuitable.
The software is sensor-agnostic and designed to run near the sensing hardware rather than sending raw data to a remote service. Robotics applications include protective-field monitoring, proximity awareness and human-machine interaction around moving equipment. The same perception layer supports automotive cabin sensing and intelligent infrastructure, including vital-sign and occupancy use cases where fine motion can be derived from radio reflections.

Timeline
Events
- 2026-10-20 - Partnership - Algorized and ZHAW launch human-motion prediction research
The programme began in September 2026 and combines raw wireless and optical inputs with confidence-weighted position and path estimates. Research covers human detection, living-object classification, motion prediction and graded continue, slow-down or stop instructions. Inference below 100 milliseconds on industrial edge hardware is a research target.
Source - 2026-02-10 - Funding - Algorized secures $13 million Series A to scale its Predictive Safety Engine for physical AI
Algorized announced a $13 million Series A to scale its Predictive Safety Engine for physical AI workloads at the edge. The company framed the round around an edge-native nervous system for sensor fusion and safer human-machine interaction.
Source - 2026-01-02 - Demonstration - Algorized and KUKA demonstrate predictive robot safety at CES 2026
Algorized ran its people-sensing model directly on the robot rather than relying on cloud processing. The system classified people, detected micro-motion and vital signs, inferred movement intent and adjusted the KUKA arm's speed in real time. Texas Instruments' IWR6843AOP mmWave radar supplied SIL2-certified sensing through darkness, clutter and partial occlusion.
Source - 2025-11-10 - Partnership - Algorized joins the ASUS AIoT Alliance Program to deliver edge AI and perception intelligence
Algorized announced it had joined the ASUS AIoT Alliance Program, combining its people-sensing edge-AI models with ASUS IoT's validated industrial edge platform. The release said the collaboration would create turnkey full-stack solutions for smart factories, logistics hubs, healthcare, and connected infrastructure. The partnership also referenced ASUS's PE1100N Intelligent Edge AI System with NVIDIA Jetson Orin as a market-ready reference platform for deployment.
Source - 2025-04-29 - Market Signal - Algorized joins MassRobotics to scale its people-sensing AI platform for robotics
Algorized announced that it had joined the MassRobotics startup community to expand product development, pilot programs, and industry partnerships. The company framed the move around scaling its multimodal sensor-fusion platform for safer human-robot collaboration in industrial environments. The release also tied the milestone to live demonstrations at Robotics Summit 2025 in Boston.
Source - 2025-01-06 - Product Launch - Algorized unveils its AI-powered multi-modal sensing platform at CES 2025
Algorized introduced a hardware-agnostic people-sensing software platform combining radar and computer vision for human-machine interaction and vital-sign monitoring. The company highlighted advanced people detection, real-time occupancy sensing, and contactless heart-rate and breathing-rate monitoring as core live capabilities. The release positioned the platform as a software-only upgrade layer for existing commodity sensors rather than a new hardware stack.
Source - 2024-11-07 - Funding - Algorized raises $4.3 million in seed funding for people-sensing technology
Algorized announced a $4.3 million seed round to expand its people-sensing and positioning software for safer human-machine interaction. The company said the round was led by Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund with participation from Acrobator Ventures, Berkeley SkyDeck Fund, CoreNest Capital, Shucker Ventures, and other strategic investors. Algorized said the capital would support scaling its sensor-agnostic software platform across industrial, robotics, and automotive markets.
Source - 2022-12-02 - Partnership - Algorized joins Qorvo's UWB Partner Program to accelerate UWB radar applications
Algorized said it joined Qorvo's Ultra-Wideband Partner Program to bring its presence-sensing technology to market using UWB radar. The company said its software-enabled sensing stack could detect people, distance, speed, and vital signs through obstacles using Qorvo UWB radar modules. The release said the first presence-detection features built on the partnership would be launched at CES 2023 at both Algorized and Qorvo booths.
