  The MoU combines ARX UGVs and Mithra software with Supacat's high-mobility defence vehicles for crewed-uncrewed teaming and optionally crewed platforms. The companies will explore UK and allied defence opportunities, including digitally enabled land operations and integration with existing platforms such as Jackal. The collaboration also covers UK-based manufacturing, integration and supply-chain capability; it does not disclose a completed production order.

  ARX Robotics and Supacat signed an MoU to integrate uncrewed ground systems with high-mobility military vehicle platforms. The work combines ARX Robotics' UGVs and Mithra software stack with Supacat's vehicle integration, manufacturing and support capability. • 2025-04-09 - Production Milestone - Supacat hands over first Jackal 3 to British Army

  Supacat handed the first Jackal 3 vehicle to the Chief of the General Staff on April 9, 2025. The updated platform adds rollover protection, payload, electromagnetic-compatibility and crew-environment improvements over Jackal 2. The combined Jackal 3 and Jackal 3 Extenda programme covered 123 vehicles scheduled for completion by Christmas 2025.

• 2025-02-27 - Demonstration - Supacat demonstrates Jackal 3 and armoured HMT at capability day

  Supacat held the HMT Capability Day on February 27, 2025 at the Combat Service Support Trials and Development Group facility. Guests experienced the Jackal 3 on the Long Valley test track and reviewed its upgrades over Jackal 2. Supacat also demonstrated a four-person armoured closed-cab HMT for wider land-mobility and ground-based air-defence roles.

• 2024-09-19 - Contract Award - UK Ministry of Defence orders 53 Supacat Jackal 3 Extenda vehicles

  The Ministry of Defence ordered 53 Jackal 3 Extenda vehicles for the British Army as an amendment to the 2023 contract. The Extenda platform can switch between 4x4 and 6x6 configurations through a modular third axle. Production was assigned to the Babcock facility at Devonport and the Supacat site in Dunkeswell.

• 2024-02-01 - Production Milestone - Supacat and Babcock launch Jackal 3 production

  Production launched for 70 HMT Jackal 3 vehicles ordered by the British Army. The dedicated Babcock facility at Devonport was assigned 62 vehicles, with eight to be built at the Supacat site in Dunkeswell. The companies planned to complete the production run by summer 2024 under the UK Land Industrial Strategy.

  The UK Ministry of Defence ordered 70 HMT 400 vehicles for the British Army, with an option that could raise the total to 240. Supacat and Babcock planned to split production between Dunkeswell and the Babcock facility at Devonport. The British Army designates the HMT 400 series as Jackal, a light armoured high-mobility platform.
