Sichuan Tianlian combines robot development with harmonic reducers and complete manufacturing systems. Its component range includes multiple reducer configurations for motion transmission, while its equipment business integrates robots into processes such as gas-meter production, electricity-meter verification, circuit-board manufacturing and palletising.
The company also develops manufacturing-execution software and digital-factory systems, connecting automation equipment with production management. Its humanoid and collaborative-robot work extends this manufacturing base: in June 2025 it introduced a new hybrid robot and pursued further development of those product lines. Customers can obtain robot hardware, core components, technical services and process-specific integration from the same business, with individual systems configured around the production task.

The Z1 stands 1.67 metres tall, weighs 45 kilograms and has 40 degrees of freedom. Its structure includes a five-degree-of-freedom waist and nine-degree-of-freedom arms. Tianlian demonstrated high-range body movement and robot-arm drawing interaction at the event.
