OceanScan expands Danish Navy LAUV fleet
OceanScan completed a second delivery of mine-hunting LAUVs to the Danish Navy.
Evidence notes
- Hydro International reported the second delivery on June 3, 2022 after the April handover in Frederikshavn.
- The additional vehicles retained the side-scan sonar, inertial navigation, Doppler velocity logging and communications configuration used by the initial fleet.
- Previously delivered LAUVs were already in regular Danish Navy mine-countermeasure operations and had located multiple contacts of interest.
