About DOF Group ASA
DOF Group ASA is a Norwegian offshore and subsea services company that combines a global vessel fleet with project management, engineering and marine operations. Through DOF Subsea it provides inspection, maintenance, construction support, survey and intervention services for offshore-energy customers.
Robotics is embedded in that operating model. DOF deploys remotely operated vehicles and has an international AUV track record using modular HUGIN systems for subsea survey and inspection. A four-year Petrobras contract announced in December 2025 adds an AUV alongside an ROV aboard Skandi Commander from an expected 2027 start, so the contract is represented as a future award rather than an active deployment.

The contract is expected to begin in January 2027. DOF valued the award at approximately $150 million. The AUV will operate as part of the vessel’s duties in addition to its remotely operated vehicle.
