About KC Robotics
KC Robotics designs, builds and commissions industrial automation cells for manufacturers across North America. Its work covers welding, cutting and finishing, material handling, CNC machine tending, assembly and vision-guided systems. In-house engineering, fabrication and robot programming take a project from process definition and feasibility assessment through tooling, integration, installation and operator training, with service and modifications after commissioning.
The West Chester, Ohio integrator combines robots from major manufacturers with application-specific equipment. Its Motofil partnership adds pre-engineered FANUC welding cells that KC integrates and supports in the United States, including positioners and compatibility with several welding-power-source brands. Capital Machine acquired KC Robotics in October 2026, adding turnkey automation engineering to its fabrication-equipment and service business. KC continues under its own name, led by CEO Kyle Carrier, with its existing engineering and project-management team.

- 2026-10-14 - Acquisition - KC Robotics is acquired by Capital Machine to expand turnkey automation
KC Robotics continues under its own name, led by Kyle Carrier and its existing engineering and project-management team. The integrator’s work spans welding, cutting and finishing, material handling, machine tending, assembly and vision-guided cells. Capital Machine brings showrooms in five US cities and field service across 22 states.

The March 19 event opened KC Robotics headquarters to manufacturers, suppliers, universities and public-sector visitors. Live exhibits combined robotic arms, machine vision and end-of-arm tooling in turnkey manufacturing workflows. Demonstrations addressed labor shortages, production throughput, process flexibility and operational safety.

The material-removal system was part of a broader KC Robotics exhibit spanning cutting, arc welding and machine tending. The exhibit was intended to show industrial applications ranging from fully automated systems to collaborative robotics. KC Robotics planned the exhibit for booth 7711 at McCormick Place in Chicago on 8–11 April.

The planned system combines KC Robotics' user interface with Yaskawa collaborative-robot technology. The compact, economical design targets manufacturers facing a shortage of skilled workers. KC Robotics planned to introduce the system at booth 7711 at McCormick Place in Chicago during the 8–11 April exhibition.

Certification followed an on-site audit and hands-on testing of key KC Robotics technical personnel. The review covered business systems, engineering capability, employee training and robotic-safety expertise. KC Robotics joined a group of 28 certified integrators worldwide while its 2018 sales tracked 30 percent above 2017.
