About PENSUR
PENSUR designs and commissions industrial control systems, electromechanical installations and robot cells around each production workflow. Its robotics work combines third-party arms, custom end effectors, machine vision, safety equipment and plant controls for palletising, depalletising, packaging and pick-and-place applications.
Project cases include a KUKA-based box erector with a custom gripper and hot-melt system, a two-robot sugar-bag palletiser using vacuum handling, and a vision-guided blister-packaging system with LUCID cameras. The company began operating in 2007 and works from Montevideo across Uruguay, Latin America and the United States. Its delivery model is project engineering and integration, not manufacture of a general-purpose robot family.

- 2021-08-11 - Demonstration - PENSUR demonstrates vision-guided robot picking for blister packaging
Two TRI050 colour cameras capture 5-MP images using Sony IMX264 global-shutter sensors. PENSUR developed the vision software with MVTec’s HALCON SDK. The implemented station selects from more than 30 products and places 45 boxes per minute.
