  • VirtuRail Automated Service Vehicles currently rely primarily on cameras and lidar for assisted navigation in tunnel construction.
  • The proposed radar layer targets smoke, dust, darkness and other conditions that can reduce optical-sensor performance.

Sensrad develops high-resolution 4D imaging radar for defence, industrial autonomy and commercial vehicles. Based in Gothenburg, its Hugin and Munin systems combine Arbe radar chipsets, Gapwaves antenna technology and Sensrad perception software. The sensors target reliable perception, localisation and mapping for off-road vehicles, robots, aerial platforms and other machines operating in dust, darkness or poor weather.
