About Accuray
Accuray develops radiation-treatment systems that combine imaging, planning software and precisely controlled beam delivery. CyberKnife mounts a compact linear accelerator on a multi-axis robotic arm, allowing radiation to be directed from many angles without a fixed gantry. Image guidance locates the target during treatment and Synchrony adjusts beam aim continuously as the tumour or patient moves.
Radixact and TomoTherapy systems deliver intensity-modulated radiation in a helical path while integrated CT imaging supports positioning and adaptation. Radixact can also use Synchrony for real-time motion tracking and correction. Accuray supplies treatment-planning and data-management software alongside the machines and supports clinical installation and service, covering stereotactic radiosurgery, body radiotherapy and conventional fractionated treatments.
