About Microbot Medical
Microbot Medical develops LIBERTY, a remotely operated robotic system for peripheral endovascular procedures. A physician uses a compact controller to manipulate compatible guidewires and catheters from outside the immediate radiation field, while a single-use robotic drive unit mounts beside the patient and interfaces with conventional procedure-room equipment.
The system received US FDA clearance in 2025 and entered a limited commercial release followed by a broader US launch in 2026. Hospitals use LIBERTY in vascular interventions without installing a large fixed robotic console, and the disposable patient-side unit removes reprocessing between cases. Microbot is expanding clinical training and hospital adoption while gathering operating experience across its initial commercial sites.
