About Stereotaxis
Genesis uses two computer-controlled magnets positioned beside the patient to generate a magnetic field that changes the direction of a compatible catheter tip. A physician operates from a remote workstation, adjusting catheter orientation and advancement while viewing live imaging and electrophysiology data.
The magnetic field produces a soft, continuously steerable catheter shape inside the heart, supporting access to complex anatomy during ablation and mapping. GenesisX integrates magnetic shielding within the system, reducing the building work required around the procedure room and supporting installation in a wider range of cardiac laboratories.
