• 2026-10-08 - Partnership - SECOM, NTT DOCOMO Business and Asilla plan TOKYO ATLAS security trial

  Testing is scheduled for October 10–December 20 at selected waterfront venues. Video will be processed within a closed mobile-network environment using docomo MEC and business SIGN, with 5G slicing and 5G Wide connectivity. Asilla's systems will assess unusual behaviour and visitor flows, while guards confirm alerts and decide how to respond.

• 2026-06-04 - Award - Asilla selected for GENIAC security-specific video foundation-model project

  The project uses more than eight million anonymised proprietary video records accumulated through Asilla's operations. Asilla plans two model scales: a four-billion-parameter model for edge use and a 27-billion-parameter cloud model. The programme covers dataset construction, foundation-model development and work toward real-world security deployment.

• 2026-05-18 - Capability - AI Security asilla version 4.4 adds vehicle and bicycle detection

  Vehicle detection covered intrusions and long-duration parking around lots, roads and property boundaries. Bicycle detection identified prohibited parking and long-duration abandonment near entrances and bicycle areas. Both features worked with existing surveillance cameras and sent real-time notifications without requiring separate monitoring hardware.

• 2026-02-04 - Deployment - Asilla expands across NTT Urban Development properties

  AI Security asilla was operating at four properties in Nagoya, Sendai and Tokyo. The asilla BIZ product also ran at three of the buildings to support pedestrian-flow analysis and operational efficiency. The portfolio deployment combined security monitoring with building-operations analytics across multiple sites.

• 2026-01-13 - Capability - AI Security asilla version 4.2 adds fire and smoke detection

  The new detector used existing surveillance footage to identify possible fire or smoke in outdoor areas and monitoring blind spots. Configuration presets let operators save and switch detection rules for conditions such as events, holidays or night operation. The Buddycom integration gained image notifications so officers could inspect an alert before reaching the scene.

• 2024-12-02 - Partnership - Asilla integrates AI Security asilla with Buddycom

  The integration became available with Asilla's December 2, 2024 software update. AI-detected incidents could trigger notifications through Buddycom so security teams could coordinate a response. The combined workflow was designed to shorten the time between anomaly detection and action by personnel.

• 2024-11-14 - Deployment - Aso Kumamoto Airport puts AI Security asilla into full operation

  The airport had tested the system in live security operations from March 2024. The evaluation found that AI monitoring supported stronger security, improved operating quality and more efficient on-site work. Full operation extended behaviour-recognition monitoring to an active airport environment.

• 2024-11-08 - Deployment - Sapporo Stellar Place moves AI Security asilla into full operation

  The production deployment followed the security demonstration announced at the commercial complex in November 2023. AI monitoring was used to detect falls, violence and other incidents or warning signs in camera footage. The transition from trial to operation established Asilla's system in a major station-connected shopping facility.

• 2024-04-08 - Deployment - Keikyu deploys AI Security asilla at Byobugaura Station

  The full deployment followed a demonstration that had run at the station since May 2023. The system used behaviour-recognition AI to identify incidents and safety concerns in and around the station. Asilla and Keikyu adopted the system after evaluating its contribution to safer station operations.

• 2024-02-09 - Demonstration - Asilla begins its first overseas security trial at Nikon Thailand

  The trial started on February 9, 2024 and covered both the factory perimeter and interior areas. AI Security asilla analysed existing camera feeds for falls, unusual behaviour and other workplace-safety risks. The partners tested whether immediate alerts could improve initial emergency response and the quality of site security.

• 2023-11-01 - Demonstration - Asilla starts first Hokkaido security demonstration at Sapporo Stellar Place

  The trial applied Asilla's behavior-recognition system to existing security-camera feeds at the station-connected complex. The system monitored for abnormal or suspicious behavior and notified security personnel when it detected an incident. The demonstration tested whether AI monitoring could improve visitor safety while reducing the burden of watching many camera streams.

• 2023-01-23 - Capability - AI Security asilla adds accessibility and lost-child detection

  The update added a lost-child search function to help facility teams locate children reported missing. New detection functions identified white-cane users and wheelchair users who might need assistance. Asilla made version 1.5 available on January 23, 2023 for facilities using the AI security system.
