About Pleora Technologies
Pleora connects imaging devices to host computers through both hardware interfaces and a common software layer. Its eBUS SDK provides a single API for GigE, 10GigE and USB image acquisition on Windows and Linux, allowing developers to integrate cameras without maintaining a separate software interface for each vendor. The eBUS Edge transmitter can turn an embedded computing platform into a GigE Vision device through software.
Version 7.0 adds ROS2 integration, broader ARM support and GenDC containers for combining images, metadata and other sensor components. This supports robotics and inspection systems with several data streams. Pleora complements the SDK with camera interfaces, external frame grabbers, evaluation tools, engineering services and maintenance subscriptions.

- 2026-06-18 - Product Launch - Pleora and imavix launch GEV-Stream for GigE Vision 3.0
GEV-Stream combines imavix’s GigE Vision 3.0 IP core and RDMA/RoCEv2 transport with Pleora’s eBUS SDK. The integrated pipeline supports 10 and 25 Gbps operation with a path to 100 Gbps and beyond. Pleora said the architecture provides deterministic latency, near-zero host CPU overhead and standards-based transmit-to-receive interoperability.

The device converts GigE Vision 2.x camera output into PCIe streams at up to 22.5 Gbps over standard Ethernet cabling. Thunderbolt 3/4 and USB4 connectivity brings high-performance cameras to laptops, embedded PCs, industrial systems and single-board computers without an internal PCIe slot. Lead-customer sampling began at launch, with full availability planned for the first quarter of 2027.

Futura became the North American distributor for Pleora's artificial-intelligence inspection solutions. The portfolio combined no-code software, edge-processing hardware and camera-based visual inspection tools. The partnership targeted automated quality monitoring and operator decision support across manufacturing applications.
