JL MAG’s 2025 interim report says purchases from China Rare Earth Group and China Northern Rare Earth together accounted for about 70% of its total procurement in the first half of the year. China Rare Earth Group’s contribution sits within a business chain spanning resource development, smelting and separation, functional materials, recycling and trade.
A controlled innovation subsidiary developed a radiation-oriented, magnetic-focusing sintered NdFeB ring that was selected among central-enterprise robotics innovation results at the 2026 World Robot Conference. The ring is a motor-magnet component within a wider group whose principal business spans diversified rare-earth materials.

Joint research covers NdFeB, flux-concentrating magnetic rings and radially magnetised rings for direct-drive motors. The partners target smaller motors and higher torque for embodied robots, industrial automation, smart-home devices and medical equipment. Cooperation also covers technical exchange and joint talent development.

The ring was developed by Zhongxi Ruida Mei in Shenzhen, a subsidiary under the group’s innovation company. The radial and flux-concentrating designs target frameless torque motors and miniature motors for dexterous hands.
