About JS Link
JS Link’s Yesan plant has 1,000 tonnes of annual sintered permanent-magnet capacity. The company has assembled specialist magnet engineers around NdFeB manufacturing and in July 2026 reported validation of a heat-resistant 45UH grade, extending the operation beyond sample production toward higher-temperature motor and industrial applications.
Its expansion plan combines that Korean base with a proposed magnet factory in Kuantan, where Lynas is contracted to provide rare-earth materials through January 2038. A separate non-binding letter of intent with REalloys covers evaluation of a North American feedstock-to-magnet platform. Robotics is one of several target markets alongside automotive, aerospace, defence, energy and industrial equipment.
