Curtis Instruments supplies the control and power-electronics layer for electric and hybrid mobile machinery. Its portfolio includes AC, brushless, brushed and series-motor controllers, vehicle-control units, CAN modules, displays, DC converters, chargers, contactors and battery-monitoring products used across forklifts, construction equipment, utility vehicles and other off-highway platforms.
Manufacturers combine these components into a distributed vehicle-control architecture, with Curtis programming tools used to configure torque, speed, braking, hydraulic functions, safety interlocks and operator interfaces. The company supports application engineering, validation and production deployment through an international service network. Parker-Hannifin completed its acquisition of Curtis in September 2025 and placed the business within its Motion Systems segment.
