About STOBER
STOBER designs gearboxes, geared motors, servo motors, drive controllers and motion software as coordinated drive components. Its portfolio covers power transmission and closed-loop motion for machine builders.
The hardware can be combined into robot-axis and automated-machine drive systems, with motors and gear units matched to the required torque, speed and positioning behaviour. STOBER also supplies configuration and control tools around the drive train, allowing OEMs to specify and commission motion equipment from one drive-technology supplier.

- 2026-04-16 - Product Launch - STOBER releases 3 hp cLEAN motor for hygienic automation
The release added a right-angle configuration for constrained machine layouts and cable routing. An optional 24 V power-off brake supports controlled stopping and load holding in vertical and inclined systems. Resolver and encoder feedback options extend the motor into higher-precision motion-control and diagnostic workflows.

The new generation expands the available ratio range for machine builders and automation OEMs. Higher torsional stiffness and a smaller footprint target faster, more precise machine axes. An optional geared-motor configuration simplifies integration of the gearbox with the drive train.
