About CyberGlove Systems
CyberGlove Systems produces instrumented gloves for measuring hand and finger motion. CyberGlove II uses as many as 22 resistive bend sensors to stream joint angles while leaving fingertips open for object handling. CyberGlove III adds improved HyperSensor elements, Wi-Fi, USB and onboard storage, capturing 18 or 22 channels at up to 120 records per second with sub-degree sensor resolution.
The gloves feed animation, ergonomic analysis, virtual training, teleoperation and robot-learning systems with calibrated hand-pose data. CyberTouch adds fingertip and palm vibration, while CyberGrasp applies force feedback to the fingers for contact with virtual or remotely manipulated objects. VirtualHand software and development tools connect sensing and haptics with application environments, letting teams build complete hand-centric capture and interaction workstations.
