About Haption
Haption manufactures force-feedback interfaces for robot control, engineering simulation and medical or research systems. The Virtuose range combines a large working envelope with active feedback across three or six axes, while Desktop models provide similar interaction in a compact format. Replaceable handles and an analogue finger gripper let integrators adapt the operator interface to a particular tool or manipulation task.
The devices share C and C++ software interfaces, with drivers for ROS, ROS 2 and CHAI3D on Windows and Linux. Haption's TREX controller provides a no-code route for connecting Virtuose hardware to industrial arms from suppliers including ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Universal Robots, Doosan and Kinova. Other configurations support virtual assembly and maintenance studies through CAD and immersive-simulation tools, and medical rehabilitation or robotic co-manipulation.
