About Dataspeed

Dataspeed’s By-Wire Kit interfaces with production-vehicle controls and CAN networks to govern braking, throttle, steering and shifting while retaining driver override and ordinary vehicle operation when the kit is powered down. Supported platforms span passenger vehicles, pickups and off-road utility vehicles, with ROS drivers and release packages maintained for research teams.

Kinetic packages combine that control layer with perception, navigation and compute hardware. Current configurations name Ouster lidar, Neousys computers, LUCID RGB cameras and OxTS inertial navigation, alongside ROS 2 tooling, calibration and integration services. Dataspeed says more than 500 vehicles have been equipped with its By-Wire Kit across industrial, defence, automotive and academic programmes.
