DH-Robotics’ gripper range spans compact parallel models, adaptive collaborative grippers and heavier PGHL systems with programmable stroke, speed and force. The drive, encoder and controller are integrated within the tool, allowing robot builders to add electrically controlled grasping without installing pneumatic valves or external motion hardware.
Its wider portfolio includes rotary grippers, linear modules, servo cylinders and the DH-5-6 dexterous hand. That hand weighs about 790 grams, provides six active degrees of freedom, tactile sensing and an 80-newton grip, supporting humanoid development, teleoperation and manipulation research alongside DH-Robotics’ established industrial end-effectors.

- 2026-09-30 - Product Launch - DH-Robotics debuts ADH-5-13 direct-drive hand at IROS
ADH-5-13 has dual magnetic encoders at each joint and company-specified ±0.2 mm fingertip positioning repeatability. The 735 g hand integrates fingertip tactile sensing; DH specifies up to 20 kg lifting payload after grasping. The separately demonstrated UDH-3-7 has seven active joints, up to 15 kg payload, 50 N fingertip force and a one-million-cycle design life.

The DH-5-6 grasped and handled bottles and bar tools with varied shapes and sizes during the live demonstration. The task combined stable force with fine manipulation to avoid shaking, slipping and unstable movement. DH-Robotics integrated the hand with Flexiv robot arms for the collaborative showcase.

The DH-5-6 uses a linkage structure designed for stable industrial object manipulation during prolonged operation. Its six active and 11 total degrees of freedom support a 0.8-second cycle time, 25-newton fingertip force and 10-kilogram payload. The modular hand is rated for at least one million gripping cycles and offers optional fingertip-and-palm tactile sensing.

DH-Robotics electric grippers use Infineon MOSFETs, EtherCAT microcontrollers, Hall sensors, gate-driver ICs and PSoC 6 microcontrollers. The design specifically incorporates OptiMOS 5 80 V devices BSZ075N08NS5 and BSC030N08NS5. Infineon published the collaboration on 30 October 2023 as DH-Robotics brought the electric-gripper series to market.
