OYMotion combines powered hand mechanisms with interfaces that measure human muscle and neural activity. Its ROHand products supply robotic grasping hardware, while the gForce Ultra wearable uses eight dry-electrode EMG channels to capture forearm-muscle signals. The wearable outputs both signal data and recognised movements, giving developers access to the measurements as well as interpreted gestures.
This links the company's bioelectric-sensing work to prosthetic control, gesture interfaces and robotics research. Its wider product range includes integrated joint motors, EEG equipment and wearable exoskeletons.
