About e-peas
e-peas’ Ambient Energy Manager chips sit between an energy harvester, a storage device and the electronic load. Product families are configured for photovoltaic, thermal, vibration and radio-frequency inputs, with integrated maximum-power-point tracking, voltage conversion, battery or capacitor charging and regulated output control.
Designers select a device around the available energy source, startup conditions, storage chemistry and peak load, then validate the architecture using evaluation boards and reference designs. The chips are used in wireless sensors, trackers, wearables and remote monitoring equipment where harvested energy can extend battery life or remove scheduled battery replacement. e-peas sells through semiconductor distribution channels and supports customers moving from proof-of-concept boards into embedded production designs.
