About SEATOM Technologies
SEATOM Technologies develops small modular reactor concepts for marine propulsion and remote power. The Finnish company combines nuclear-safety engineering, naval architecture, maritime regulation and operational planning around compact reactors intended for integration into vessels or isolated energy systems.
Its work covers plant configuration, containment, ship interfaces, licensing strategy, fuel and lifecycle operations. Designs must address collision, flooding, security and port access alongside conventional reactor safety. SEATOM provides concept development and advisory services as the technology moves through feasibility and regulatory preparation; it does not yet operate a commercial reactor fleet.

Events
- 2025-12-10 - Award - SEATOM Technologies selected for NATO DIANA's 2026 cohort
The programme provides contractual funding and access to DIANA accelerator sites and test centres. The selection supports development and validation of dual-use technology against an Allied defence and security challenge.
