Embraer was founded in 1969 and remains headquartered in São José dos Campos. The publicly listed group operates in commercial aviation, executive jets, defence and security, and services and support; it says more than 9,000 aircraft have been delivered to customers in over 100 countries. Its engineering and industrial footprint spans Brazil, the United States, Mexico and Portugal.
Advanced air mobility is carried through both ownership context and industrial participation. Eve was created from Embraer’s urban-air-mobility activity and continues to draw on the parent group’s certification, engineering, services and supply-chain experience. Embraer separately agreed to design, certify, manufacture and supply landing-gear systems and components for Eve’s aircraft. Embraer is a diversified aircraft manufacturer with direct industrial involvement in autonomous and electric aviation.

Adjusted EBIT reached $656.8m, equivalent to an 8.7% adjusted margin. The company delivered 244 commercial and executive aircraft, 18% more than in 2024. Year-end backlog rose 20% to $31.6bn, while adjusted free cash flow excluding Eve reached $491.2m.

Embraer will design, develop, certify, manufacture and supply the landing-gear systems and related components. Eve signed the agreement on 26 January 2026, with the contract effective from 24 November 2025. Eve recorded approximately $493,664 in 2025 nonrecurring development milestone payments and related costs.
