About Spaceium
Spaceium is developing unmanned orbital service stations that store and transfer both cryogenic and storable propellants. A visiting spacecraft would rendezvous with a station, after which a modular robotic arm aligns and connects the required transfer interface. The architecture is intended to manage long-duration storage, docking and fuel movement while also carrying tools for selected inspection or repair tasks.
The company is validating individual technologies before deploying a complete depot. An actuator flown on SpaceX Transporter-15 achieved 0.003-degree rotational accuracy in orbit, providing a test of the precise robotic positioning required for future connections. Spaceium’s planned network would let spacecraft refuel after launch, extending operating life, payload capacity and the distance available for later manoeuvres.
