About Fieldwork Robotics

Fieldwork Robotics develops autonomous machines for selective raspberry harvesting. Fieldworker 1 uses four picking arms, AI-enhanced 3D cameras, sensors and machine learning to locate fruit, assess ripeness and pick to commercial quality. Its modular design can run on agricultural mobile bases including Burro, and multiple robots are intended to operate under one supervisor.

The company works with growers to adapt crops and polytunnel lanes for robotic picking, gather yield-forecasting data and extend harvesting into night operations. Fieldworker 1 has completed field trials at Place UK and entered programmes with Costa Group and Portuguese growers. In 2026 Fieldwork described a transition from technology validation toward commercial trials and multi-robot farm adoption, supported by new investment and UK deployment work with Place UK.
