About AIGRO
AIGRO is a Dutch agricultural-robotics developer based in Best. The company builds AIGRO UP, a compact electric vehicle designed to travel autonomously along crop rows and other structured outdoor routes while carrying interchangeable tools. The platform is positioned for growers that need repeated low-impact passes without assigning a tractor and driver to each task.
AIGRO UP supports operations including mowing and mechanical weed control in orchards, vineyards, nurseries, soft-fruit production and comparable specialist crops. Distribution through Mechan Machines expands its commercial reach in the Netherlands, while the robot remains the company’s own core platform. Its supplier relationship with igus concerns linear-motion hardware inside that machine and does not change AIGRO’s classification as an agricultural robot builder.

Mechan Machines added the compact autonomous AIGRO UP to its precision-agriculture portfolio. The partnership uses Mechan Machines' specialist dealer network to advise and service AIGRO customers. The partner said AIGRO UP was already used in nurseries, vineyards, soft-fruit operations, plant production and grounds maintenance.
