About Fischer Panda
Founded as Icemaster in Paderborn in 1977, Fischer Panda has operated under its current corporate name since 2007. Its compact generators use sound-insulated housings for onboard electrical supply. The company also builds hybrid energy systems and electric marine drives, including Aziprop pod drives and shaft motors controlled through EasyBox. Development, assembly and service are centred in Paderborn, with a sales and service network spanning more than 80 countries.
HydroSurv uses a 4 kW Fischer Panda generator alongside a Mastervolt battery system in the battery-hybrid REAV-47 supplied to GOSL in Nigeria. That vessel supports extended hydrographic and geophysical survey operations from GOSL's Port Harcourt base.
